For many of the UK’s population we find are self’s sat under a desk at work, for some people including my self who lead active lifestyles outside of work i struggle to sit still and often think to my self how could i exercise here at work using the office furniture and have come up with a few exercises which could be even done from our office chairs.
Wrist Flex: Hold one arm out in front of you with the elbow straight. With the other arm, slowly bend the wrist down and then slowly bend it back up. Repeat this exercise for three to five repetitions with each hand.
Neck Extension: Place your hands behind your head with your fingers placed together. Attempt to push your head backward for five seconds as you resist with your hands. Resist with your head forward, then straight up, and then all the way back. Stretch your neck as far as you can in each direction.
Chair Squat: Periodically while sitting, brace yourself on the arms of your chair, lift your bottom off the seat and hover over chair for 2-3 seconds. Stand up and repeat.
Dips: Make sure chair is stable and place your hands next to hips on the chair seat. Move your hips in front of chair and bend your elbows, lowering your body until your elbows are at 90 degrees. Repeat.
Bicep Curl: Hold the water bottle in your right hand and, with abs pulled tightly in and your spine straight, curl the bottle towards your shoulder.

We all look at the athletes on television and some may be as lucky to see them live but we always think to ourselves how have they become so fit or in such shape and when asked they always put it down to:
• Training hard
• Eating the right foods
• Allowing recovery time
Know yes I’m sure that these will help maintain your fitness but has to be other things done to improve this may be through supplements and protein shakes.
But not all Athletes keep their body like a temple as their have many high profile reporting’s of athletes taking illegal products such as cocaine and anabolic steroids, for me this is pointless and see this as defeating the object if you have to lower your standard to use any type of enhancing drug to improve your performance.
A shock to you all could be knowing that many of the top premiership footballers smoke all though not seen very often with a cigarette in their mouth there has been instances of players been caught such as Wayne Rooney and Zinedine Zidane.
An answer to their cravings would be to use the electronic cigarettes as a replacement these provide users with a real smoking experience without the tobacco and tar found in real cigarettes and cigars. They look like, feel like and taste like traditional tobacco, yet they aren’t, they are so much more.

It has been reported in recent weeks that around 50% of UK holidaymakers will be looking to reduce the amount of money they spend this year on there holidays partly due to the recession.
As many customers look to reduce the costs and saving on their holidays many travellers are finding them self’s moving away from the tradition travel agents and instead looking to book holidays themselves online.
There are reports that this year is going to see a peak in the British tourist industry with the likes of Blackpool, Devon, Cornwall and Lake Windermere expected to be the places to go this summer which is great for the British tourist industry as many looked to travel abroad soon as summer came.
Types of holidays many people will be experiencing include camping and staying in caravans and Shelly’s these holidays are great for those who love the out doors and take joy in, walking, climbing, cycling the type out activities where the outdoor equipment is highly recommended.
Of course this is only what the researchers have predicted i am sure that their will be many people and families who will be travelling abroad this summer.

When I say Sports Day what do you think of? Because I don’t mean just any sports day where a particular sport is going to be carried out I mean the sports day many of us grew up loving when we where at Primary School.
The reason for this is that it nearly that time of year for many kids to compete in their schools sports day event for many people who do not know what this, this use to in involve each year competing through a number of events such as:
bean bag racing,
egg and spoon race,
skipping
running
the list could go on where prizes and trophies where awarded to the winners.
I no for many schools they still stick to this tradition and every year hold these events where their parents and family could come down and watch them participate in the events ahead.
This is a great way to keep the kids active and make them enjoy and take part in the sports as well as view the talent that some of the kids have.
For me I think that all Primary Schools who do not already have such events as Sports day held once a year should think about setting these up as a great way to get the children experiencing competition and a range of sports.

Manchester United head to North West rivals Wigan Athletic aiming to take another step closer to securing a third consecutive Premier League title.
It was not to long that united where suffering back to back defeats and people claiming that they where running out of steam due to their long campaign but they have recently gone on a rampant run like Knights Templar knocking upan impressive run of six straight league victories to help tighten their grip as title winners.
We have to give credit to second-placed Liverpool as they have refused to give up hope of on winning the title although it looks like their chance has been and gone for another year
Manchester United take on Wigan later today knowing that a win could leave them needing one point from two games and even winning the title in their next fixture at home to Arsenal. What a celebration that would be. The last game would then be to Hull where the title could have already been won
Tonight’s Possible starting XIs
Man Utd: Van der Sar, Rafael, O’Shea, Vidic, Evra, Giggs, Fletcher, Scholes, Rooney, Ronaldo, Berbatov.
Wigan: Kingson, Melchiot, Bramble, Scharner, Figueroa, Valencia, Brown, Cattermole, N’Zogbia, Rodallega, Mido.

As the season grows to a close to an end the bottom of the table is looking very daunting for some people with relegation staring them in the face this weekend for me should decide who is getting relegated and who is going to survive the drop
The bottom 5 teams fixtures look like this:
Sunderland Vs Bolton
Hull Vs Stoke
West Brom Vs Wigan
Newcastle Vs Middlesbrough
From looking at these fixtures the funny thing is that all the teams here are in the bottom half of the table so a win is a must for all the teams to fight for survival.
