I don’t know if he is truly ready yet but I’m sure only time will tell as Amir Khan is set to fight for a world title in June this year when he takes on WBA light-welterweight champion Andreas Kotelnik.
This has been seen by another brave move by Khans promoter Frank Warren, the 22-year-old will step up from the lightweight division for the first time to take on the Hamburg-based Ukrainian.
The former Olympic silver medalist is fresh from a victory over seven-time world champion Marco Antonio Barrera, a fight many thought was risky at such an early stage of his career.
However, with few options at lightweight Warren felt the time was right to step his prodigy up to 10st for a title shot.

After a two week break from the Premiership due to the international break the top four will be ready for action to try and morrow the gap on each other.
The biggest games to watch out for will be the Liverpool Vs Fulham and Manchester United Vs Aston Villa as these two teams seem to be in the running for fist place.
Liverpool has cut the gap to one point, although the reigning champions do still have a game in hand over their rivals.
Many of the United players have stated that complacency will not creep into United’s game and are anxious to be apart of another title-winning team as they stay on track for chasing a hat-trick of top-flight crowns

Sunday seen the start of the Formula 1 Season start in Australia and what a great spectacle it was with the Brawn team capping their first win and Hamilton coming from 18th to finish 4th and then be promoted to 3rd as the current 3rd place holder was disqualified for his actions during the race.
However Reports have come today that Lewis Hamilton and his McLaren team have been disqualified from the Australian Grand Prix for giving “deliberately misleading” evidence to investigating race stewards.
The sport’s world governing body FIA reopened an investigation on Thursday into the circumstances which saw Toyota’s Jarno Trulli pass Hamilton during a safety car period in Melbourne.
A post-race stewards’ probe in Australia adjudged Trulli at fault and handed the Italian a 25 second penalty, dropping him from third to 12th.
But after hearing team radio transmissions from the Australian GP, the decision has been reversed with Hamilton and McLaren now punished for providing intentionally disingenuous information to the Melbourne hearing.
Unlucky Hamilton after working so hard in the race I think he would have been happy the original 4th place he’s going to have to win the Malaysian Grand Prix this week to catch up on the points he has missed
