December 19th, 2008 by Ken

Well I guess my prediction were wrong with the champions league draw to be honest they were just the games I would of liked to see because if you look at some of my predictions it would have been impossible for some to play each other due to where the teams finished off with in their groups.

And so have decided to update you all with the correct draw! What can i say the Champions have a tough game against Inter along with Chelsea and Liverpool as Arsenal have the easiest game out of the four English clubs left in the competition with Roma .

CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW

Chelsea v Juventus
Villarreal v Panathinaikos
Sporting Lisbon v Bayern Munich
Atletico Madrid v FC Porto
Lyon v Barcelona
Real Madrid v Liverpool
Arsenal v Roma

The annual bike show is being held at the Excel in London is on from the 29th Jan - 1rd Feb 2009 preparations for the show are already underway and if it turns out anything like last years NEC bike show, expect to see big crowds and plenty of bikes.

The London bike show is now in its second to third year of running and represents a really good showcase of UK manufacturers and their latest models. This year you can check out the latest offerings from manufacturers which have been confirmed as:

BMW
KTM
DUCATI
HONDA
KAWASAKI
SUZUKI
YAMAHA
HARLEY DAVIDSON

One of the benefits for visiting the London Motor show if your a bike fanatic or just own one are the bargains available ahead of the new bike season. Anything from gear such as Motorcycle Helmets to Motorcycle parts this is the place to be.

The shows have also given visitors the chance of meeting and seeing some of the biggest riding names, take part in competitions, and see the search for the MCN ‘Babe of the year’.

It’s a great day out and more than just a bike show. If you can make it I would recommend it.

Ricky Hatton Vs Manny Pacquiao

December 15th, 2008 by Ken

As iv talked about before about a fight between Pacquiao and Hatton this looks most certainly on as Saturday seen the Paccman destroy Oscar De La Hoya in their super fight in Las Vegas.

After the fight Manny claimed he would be more than happy to take on Hatton in England as their were talks that Hatton would take on the winner of this fight although De La Hoya expected to come out victorious en route to a huge summer showdown in London next year.

But that was not the case as the Filipino destroyed Golden Boy after stepping up three weight divisions in eight months to stop the faded ‘Golden Boy’ after eight rounds inside the MGM Grand.

Ramos Returns after short break

December 10th, 2008 by Ken

Reports were announced that Real Madrid have sacked Bernd Schuster and replaced the coach with former Tottenham manager Juande Ramos until the end of the season.

Ramos will be straight into action as coach as he takes charge in Madrid’s Champions League match at home to Zenit St Petersburg.

Real Madrid currently lies fifth in the Primera Liga, nine points behind Barcelona, who they meet in El Clasico this weekend. A busy week if I do say so for any new coach starting.

Personally I think it was Sunday’s 4-3 home defeat by Sevilla the pushed the board over the edge and caused the Madrid board to call a meeting to discuss Schuster future in which an agreement was agreed to leave.

F1 Casualties for 2009

December 9th, 2008 by Ken

It has been reported that there has been a number of formula one casualties ahead of 2009 calendar.
This has said to be due to the problems with economic finance structure with many of the Grand Prix just not being able to afford to host.

Casualties include:

Hockenheim would not be able to host the German Grand Prix in the future unless the state could help finance the race.

The French Grand Prix will also be absent from next year’s calendar after running into similar financial difficulties.

The Canadian Grand Prix was dropped from the 2009 calendar after it was revealed that race organisers did not have the money to pay F1 commercial rights controller Bernie Ecclestone for the right to host the race.

The Teams showing interest in Hesky’s signature for the next transfer window include, Everton, who have lost strikers Saha &Yakubu for the rest of the season, Liverpool, Aston Villa, Manchester City and Tottenham.

Judgment Night

December 4th, 2008 by Ken

This weekend see’s some huge fights brought before our very own eyes but nothing more important than the Amir Khan and Oisn Fagan as many people feel Kahn now has a point to prove after his poor defeat in the hands on Bredis Prescott in just 54seconds my only thoughts are who is this opponent and is he going to be challenging or another walk over like his fighters before Prescott.

A Big attraction for the night has to be the fight between Ocar De La Hoya and Manny Pacquiao who is a four-weight world champion and regarded as the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world right now.

This fight should bring some excitement to our eyes as these to lock horns.
