Test performances held at London’s O2 arena on Tuesday by the British Olympic Association resulted in a heart-breaking drama for Britain’s rhythmic gymnasts.
The team, who have funded their bid themselves and with the help of their parents, needed to achieve a score of 45.223 in order to qualify to compete at this summer’s games. This target was set by the BOA and British Gymnastics, despite the fact that as a host nation they could have places regardless. The BOA have decided, however, that any British team going to The Games must have proved themselves worthy of the place, and stand by their decision.
On Tuesday, the girls missed their target by 0.273 and saw their dreams for the future shattered.

Twitter is a very good source to keep up to date with sports. Which sport? almost each and every sport known to man at this present moment! And another important point to note: Twitter is really fast at informing you of the latest in sports and games. How fast? literally seconds after the even takes place! there are millions of users on twitter who are scattered all over the world and at thousands of events over the globe and like to “tweet” every minute!
So having a twitter account can be a good thing but you need to have a lot of control on yourself otherwise it’ll delay you in everything.
